This July, our third installment of Puravida Peartree returns to Nosara, Costa Rica, Peartree’s second home. This weeklong workshop combines movement, creativity, and connection to the natural world.
Puravida Peartree is the the yoga/surf retreat paradigm turned sideways: We inject flower arranging classes, botanical illustrations, book making, and raw dessert classes into the week’s curriculum alongside jungle vinyasa and surf lessons.
Our students will experiment with locally-sourced Costa Rican flowers; learn to make raw desserts with the abundant tropical bounty; create their own hand bound notebooks (to use throughout the week); practice yoga in the jungle; learn to surf in Nosara’s warm waters; and connect with each other and nature.
Our week culminates with a celebratory Costa Rican dinner styled by all of us, at the Harmony Hotel.
This weeklong exploration focusses on creativity for its own sake and for our own enrichment, enjoyment, and growth. We are all teachers and all students and our collaborations are what elevate each of us.
Our home for the week is the glorious Harmony Hotel. Students can luxuriate at the pool or unwind at the juice bar. Most classes take place at the Harmony Hotel’s tranquil Healing Centre. The Harmony’s commitment to sustainability and its care and love for Nosara makes it the perfect host for Puravida Peartree. We are so grateful for their continued support of this workshop.
Workshop cost: $2975
Harmony Hotel room: $900-$1550 (double occupancy vs single occupancy)
Sunset Shack room: $600-$750 (double occupancy vs single occupancy)

Investment includes accommodations, flower arranging lessons, raw dessert classes, botanical illustration workshop, book making class, two surf lessons, yoga each morning, breakfast and lunch each day, welcome dinner, and curated final dinner party (as well gifts and surprises, of course).

HOW MUCH DO I NEED TO PAY NOW?
A $1500 deposit is required to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due by June 15th, 2018. Payment plans are available.

You can pay by check or through this very website.
WHAT IS THE REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you decide to cancel, you will forfeit your deposit (though we will make exceptions for illness, injury, etc.) or you can transfer your spot to someone else. The workshop organizers reserve the right to cancel if less than 7 participants sign up. In this unlikely scenario, you will be refunded in full.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS?
Yes, we cap the workshop at 12 people. That way, we can ensure that everyone gets plenty of individual attention and instruction, and the workshop stays small and intimate.
DO I NEED TO HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THE VARIOUS MEDIUMS?
Nope – none at all. And if you have a bunch, that’s great too.
